Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood actor, will play a massy cop in his next flick Deva. According to accounts, the actor filmed many climax moments for the film, but only one made the final cut. According to an insider, many climax scenes were shot for the film, and neither the cast nor the crew know which version made the final cut.

"The makers have kept the climax tightly under wraps, leaving everyone guessing. This secrecy ensures an added layer of suspense not just for audiences but for the team as well," a Free Press Journal report quoted a source.
The trailer for Deva was published a few days ago, and it appears that the film will feature Shahid in a hitherto unseen avatar. In the film, the actor plays an aggressive, young cop who throws some powerful punches and delivers spectacular gun-toting moments.
During the trailer event in Mumbai, Shahid revealed that Deva took three years to create and one year to shoot.
"We have given everything, from our head and our heart to give the audience an experience that will stay for long. Deva is the most complex character I¡¯ve played, and I¡¯ve played a few, but if there was any character that challenged me, and I am capable of doing this is Deva," Kapoor said.

Aside from Shahid, Deva features Pooja Hegde, Kubra Sait, and Pavail Gulati in significant parts. Deva, directed by noted Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zed Studios and Roy Kapur Films, will be released on January 31, 2025.
