The teaser of Sikandar was initially supposed to be launched on December 27, coinciding with Salman¡¯s birthday. This, however, did not happen as the makers postponed its release in light of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh¡¯s death.

Sikandar is an action-thriller that features Salman Khan in a macho avatar. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss, who impressed the Hindi audience with Akshay Kumar¡¯s Holiday and the Aamir Khan-led Ghajini.
