26 Years After Border, Sunny Deol Returns To Longewala & Dances To Gadar 2 Song With BSF Jawans
Actor Sunny Deol kickstarts the promotion of Gadar 2 at Rajasthan's Longewala Border, spotted doing Bhangra with BSF Jawans.
Actor Sunny Deol is all set to return with the sequel of his 2001 blockbuster Gadar. With Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma returning to their original characters, Gadar 2 launches Simratt Kaur alongside Manish Wadhva, Luv Sinha, Gaurav Chopra and Mir Sarwar to name a few.

On Wednesday, Sunny kickstarted the promotions of his next and reached the historic Longewala War Memorial of Rajasthan.
Deol took to his Instagram and shared a glimpse of his visit to the ¡®border¡¯. For the unversed, Longewala was the prime backdrop of Sunny¡¯s 1997 blockbuster film Border. In his carousel, Sunny can be seen posing alongside a war tank. In another picture, he is showcasing his ¡®Dhaai Kilo Ka Haath¡¯ as he arm wrestles with a BSF Jawan.

Sunny even tried operating a machine gun under the guidance of his BSF friends.
The highlight of his visit remains the actor performing Bhangra with BSJ people singing alongside. He performed his iconic ¡®Mai Nikla Gaddi Leke¡¯ song which made the entire crowd groove to his charisma. He even visited a temple at Longewala during his visit.

Sharing the pictures, Sunny wrote on his Instagram, ¡°Started the Promotion of #Gadar2 with my friends at Border Security Forces, Longewala Rajasthan. Remembering Brigadier Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri and all the brave martyrs who fought the Battle of Longewala and wrote History.¡±

Recently during the trailer launch of Gadar 2, Sunny stirred controversy while trying to blur the borders between India and Pakistan.
He was heard saying in Hindi, ¡°The essence lies in humanity, not in taking or giving. A conflict between the two sides should not prevail. It is the political blame game that creates hatred between India and Pakistan, a theme reflected in this film. Both nations comprise people who seek peace, as we are essentially one and the same.¡±

Utkarsh who plays Sunny¡¯s son in the Gadar franchise calls him the ¡®last action hero¡¯ who rules the genre.
He told DNA, ¡°Unse upar koi nahi hai. Hollywood used to have such heroes like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis; but now they don't have any such action stars. Unke pass se agar unke superhero costume le le, toh ek bhi aisa hero nahi hai jo aisa action kar sakta hai.¡± Gadar releases on 11th August.
