To Control Pathaan Madness, Theatres Restrict Entry As Fans Damage Screens And Break Seats
Shah Rukh Khan's fans go crazy while watching Pathaan in theatres, break seats, and damage the screen after they go out of control inside cinema halls.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham's latest movie 'Pathaan' has sent fans into a frenzy after the film hit theatres on January 25. Crazy fans of Shah Rukh Khan, who has returned as a hero on the silver screen after breaking his four-year hiatus in Bollywood have gone out of control out of sheer excitement.
According to reports, it has been learned that cinemas in Amravati, Malegaon, Dhule, Bilaspur, Raipur, and Nasik are ¡°restricting people¡¯s entry¡± into theatres screening SRK's film Pathaan.
Reportedly, trade analyst Komal Nahta shared some visuals from inside and outside cinema halls that show people dancing too close to the screens. Some visuals showed people dancing on the chairs, aisle, and on the stage, cheering to Pathaan's songs Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan as they were being played on-screen.
Komal Nahta also mentioned in his tweet that several cinemas have reported damage to the screens because of people going into a frenzy.

"In their excitement, people don¡¯t realize that they are dancing so close to the screens that they are damaging them in the process. Not just the screens of the cinemas but also the seats are being found broken because a lot of people, unable to control their enthusiasm, are actually dancing on their seats towards the end of the film, on the Jhoome jo Pathaan song,¡± trade analyst Nahta tweeted while sharing the videos.
Moreover, this frenzy has prompted exhibitors to restrict the people's inflow in cinemas to curb any losses and control property damage.
As per Indian Express, an official report related to the incident read, ¡°The aforementioned stations are not issuing tickets once around 30-35% of their seats are booked because that¡¯s all that their staff can control. It doesn¡¯t need to be added that this is causing a loss not just to the cinemas but also to Yash Raj Film Distributors because the collections are being artificially controlled.¡±
