As per trade analyst Himesh Mankad, Tumbbad 2 has got a massive budget. He recently tweeted, ¡°#SohumShah gets Rs 100 crore budget for #Tumbbad2; In talks with a leading studio for the #Tumbbad sequel, which is slated to go on floors later this year. The story is locked and pre-production work has already started. Interestingly, the first part struggled to get finances, and the second one is in demand post the success of the film in re-release!"

What to expect from Tumbbad 2
A sequel to the movie has been confirmed by its creators. On X, Sohum Shah posted a trailer teaser with the title, "Pralay Aayega." A preview of the story's upcoming chapter is provided by the teaser. "Samay ka pahiya gol hai, jo beet gaya woh hamesha laut ke aata hai" (Life travels in circles) is the opening line of the video, which is voiced by Vinayak Rao.
Times Now claims that the sequel will expand on the plot of the first movie. It will explore notions of immortality and build on the story through Vinayak's son Pandurang. The plotline hasn't been formally confirmed yet, though.
