Uorfi Javed Detained In Dubai For Reportedly Sporting A ¡®Revealing Outfit¡¯ & Shooting In Public

TV actor and DIY expert Uorfi Javed is herself a call for controversy. From her quirky self-made outfits to her rebellious statements, she has everything one needs for stealing headlines. The actress although has now fallen into a legal clutch. If reports are to be believed, Uorfi has been detained in UAE.

Uorfi who was on a vacation in Dubai shot a video in a revealing outfit at a public spot which is not allowed in the country.

India Today reports, ¡°It has been confirmed that Uorfi Javed has been held in the UAE. When we reached out to Uorfi¡¯s team for more information, they refrained from commenting on the matter. She is currently being questioned by the authorities.¡±

A source as quoted by ETimes revealed, "She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit made by her, which was revealing as per the people here in Dubai. The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area and they don't consider it to be allowed to wear what she wore. She is being questioned by the police. Let's see what happens."

In Dubai, Uorfi was recently rushed to the hospital as her health deteriorated.

Dubai seems like not a lucky pick for Uorfi¡¯s vacation plan. The actress got diagnosed with laryngitis. Uorfi shared a video of herself from the hospital and said, ¡°This doctor finally diagnosed that I am suffering from Laryngitis and tonsillitis.¡± The doctor then asked her not to speak. Her team on the other hand reported that she is now doing better.

It was just last month that this Bigg Boss OTT contestant took to her Instagram stories and spoke about Air India and AI Express issuing a joint circular stating that any passport holder with a single name will not be allowed to travel to UAE. ¡°So my official name is only Uorfi, no surname and now I¡¯m f**ked," she had written.
