Amid a lot of anticipation and rumors, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who played the iconic Faisal Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur, has talked about whether a third part of the film is going to be made or not. Here's what he said
Fans of the gritty, cult classic Gangs of Wasseypur have been anxiously awaiting to know if a third part is in the works or not. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the actor who played Faisal Khan has now spoken out and made it clear that Gangs of Wasseypur 3 will not happen despite a number of circulating rumors .In fact he said that Anurag Kashyap won¡¯t make it and he won¡¯t act in it either.

In an interview with Mid-day, he said, ¡°Anurag won¡¯t make it. Neither will I act in it. I get such offers so much."
He continued by saying he often gets similar offers, with some even proposing to make a movie based entirely on his character, Faizal Khan.
He added, ¡°People even tell me, ¡®Lets take your character of Faizal Khan from Gangs and make a film on him,¡¯"
Additionally, regarding the rumours of a possible third installment of Gangs of Wasseypur, Anurag Kashyap said he has no plans to create a Wasseypur universe in a different interview with The Lallantop.

Gangs of Wasseypur is a 2012 epic crime film in Hindi that was written and directed by Anurag Kashyap and Zeishan Quadri. It follows the power struggles, politics, and retaliation among three crime families across three generations, from 1941 to 2009, with a focus on the coal mafia in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
Since no Indian theater would offer to show a film longer than five hours, it was divided into two parts for that market. Originally, both parts were shot as a single film totaling 321 minutes, and it was presented at the 2012 Cannes Directors' Fortnight.
