200 Kg Of Ganja Seized As NCB Arrests Dia Mirza's Former Manager Rahila Furniturewala & Others
Dia Mirza's ex-manager Rahila Furniturewala is a suspect in the drug probe following Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Furniturewala has been arrested along with her sister who was found in possession of Ganja.
The drug probe that started after Sushant Singh Rajput's death has encompassed many big names from the industry including Bharti Singh and Arjun Rampal. As Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) continues to do its job, many people are getting exposed.
In its recent raid, arrested three people, including a British national, for allegedly supplying imported strains of ganja in the metropolis, an official told PTI.

Over 200 kilograms of ganja, including imported strains like 'OG Kush' (a strain of cannabis indica), and curated marijuana, some of which had been sourced from the United States as well as local areas, were recovered in the NCB action, he said.
"A team of NCB''s Mumbai unit led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede conducted a raid in Bandra West and seized ganja from a courier initially. It also conducted searches in Khar west and recovered a huge stash of imported strains of ganja from British national Karan Sajnani," he said.
Sajnani's questioning revealed the role of Dia Mirza¡¯s former manager Rahila Furniturewala, who is a suspect in the drug probe following Rajput's death.
"Contraband like ganja and bud (street slang for marijuana and hashish) was recovered from Furniturewala, who was also providing financial aid to the network. Shaista, the sister of Rahila, was also arrested with ganja. The drugs were rolled into joints by Sajnani for supply to high-class clients in Mumbai and other states," he added.
Following this, Furniturewala has been arrested along with her sister who was found in possession of Ganja.
"Further on the revelation of Karan Sajnani Ganja Bud was recovered from Rahila Furniturewala who is also suspect in the investigation of Cr. No. 16/2020 of Mumbai Zonal Unit. The sister of Rahila Furniturewala named Shaista Furniturewala was also arrested as she too was found in possession of Ganja. Total contraband seized was approximately 200 kg," the statement from NCB read.
"The contraband was packed in the form of pre-rolled Ganja Joints by Karan Sajnani and was marketed to high-class clients in Mumbai and various other states. The smuggling activity was supported by Rahila Furniturewala by providing financial and other aids," it added.
