5 Years of Bajirao Mastani: Priyanka Chopra Celebrates Her Immensely Loved Character Kashi Bai
With Bajirao Mastani, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted audiences to fall in love with the love story of its two protagonists. But an unintended consequence that we believe he would have never imagined was the affection and respect viewers would have for the character Kashi Bai played to perfection by actor Priyanka Chopra.

But an unintended consequence that we believe he would have never imagined was the affection and respect viewers would have for the character Kashi Bai played to perfection by actor Priyanka Chopra.
Adding more to the glory of Kashi Bai was her iconic dialogue which remains unforgettable. "Aap Humse humari zindagi maang lete hum aap ko khushi khushi de dete, par aapne toh humse humara guroor cheen liya." Truly outstanding!
It's been five years since we first saw Kashi Bai on the big screen and celebrating exactly this is Priyanka Chopra.
"With extremely fond memories of a glorious experience playing the gentle strength of Kashi we celebrate the #5YearsOfBajiraoMastani. Congratulations Sanjay sir @RanveerOfficial @deepikapadukone @tanviazmi and everyone on the team!," Priyanka Chopra wrote.

Even actress Deepika Padukone who played the role of Mastani took to her social media handles to remember one of her fondest roles to date.
"Whether in love or war, Mastani was fuelled by her passion, unafraid to write her own destiny, no matter how perilous the path. She never bowed down and always stood her ground with a fierce dignity and a love so strong that its burning embers seared through every societal constraint, to join both her and her lover's names, for all of eternity," wrote Deepika Padukone.
The film was exceptional and calls for a watch this weekend if we may suggest so!
