Aamir Khan Will Reportedly Meet Tom Hanks To Prep For 'Laal Singh Chaddha'
Aamir Khan is gearing up for his forthcoming comedy-drama which is going to be an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. Aamir will be seen playing a Sikh character who has a low IQ. Reports claim that for this character he has already lost 20 kg and he was on a special diet.
Aamir Khan does things differently and this is something that will never change. Currently, he is gearing up for his forthcoming comedy-drama, which is going to be an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump that starred Tom Hanks as the protagonist.
Aamir, who believes in doing all it takes to get into the skin of his characters has already started preparing for the film. Apart from the usual process of understanding the character, reports claim that Aamir will have personal sessions with Tom Hanks.
Reports floating on the internet quotes a source as saying, ¡°Viacom 18 is looking at arranging the meeting between Tom Hanks and Aamir Khan as a warm-up to the remake."
For the Indian version of Forrest Gump, Aamir will be seen playing a Sikh character, who has a low IQ.
Reports also claim that for this character, he has already lost 20 kg and he was on a special diet that consisted of sabzi, roti and some protein intake. Aamir will also be seen reuniting with his 3 Idiots and Talaash co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan who will be playing his love interest in the film.
The film will release next year.
