Show her sympathy with JNUSU >> Front page headline >> Criticize by RW >> And her film will perform comparatively good

When she joined the protest Deepika said that she was angry that no action has been taken at such brutal violence.
"I am very angry at what is happening but it is worse that no action is being taken," she was quoted as saying by Aaj Tak.
When asked to comment on the situation, she said that she already stated what she wanted to during the release of Padmaavat.
"What I wanted to say I said it two years ago when Padmaavat was released. What I am seeing today, it pains me. I hope it doesn¡¯t become the new normal. That anyone can say anything and they can get away with it. I fear and I'm sad. This is not the foundation of our country," she added.
