After Sanjay Raut, CM Uddhav Thackeray Slams Kangana Ranaut For Her 'Mumbai Is POK' Comment

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery at a Dusshera rally on Sunday finally commented on the attacks by actress Kangana Ranaut on his government, his son, and the Mumbai Police.

"Someone who committed suicide is now a Bihar son. He may be, but because of him, you maligned sons of Maharashtra. You even maligned my son Aaditya. So whatever you said, keep it yourself. We are clean," he said replying back to Kangana Ranaut without once naming her.

This is the first time Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has ever acknowledged or commented on Kangana Ranaut's attacks. Specifically commenting on Ranaut calling the city of Mumbai as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), Thackeray accused her of 'namak harami'.

"They come to Mumbai for work and then defame the city. This amounts to namak harami. Mumbai has become PoK they say. So this is also an insult to PM. He had said will bring PoK to India. It has been six years so it is his failure," said Uddhav Thackeray sparing no one.

Lastly, Thackeray also retaliated on how Kangana Ranaut has painted Maharashtra as a drug haven.

"They don't know in our house we grow tulsi not ganja. Ganja fields are in your state, you know where, not in our Maharashtra," he said, in a pointed attack on Kangana Ranaut who hails from the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Uddhav Thackeray concluded his address with his praises for the Mumbai Police. Now, it will be interesting to see what Kangana Ranaut has to say on the same.
