The interview has caught the attention of Reddit users, and now they are being vocal about their reactions. Many users pointed out that Alia's rise as the lead actress in Bollywood films starting with her debut has been closely linked with Karan Johar. Some even called her priviledged enough that filmmakers waited for her while she was pregnant, which they won't do for any other actress.
Have a look at what the redditors have to say about Alia:
One of the Reddit users who called Alia privileged wrote, "She literally confessed in Kareena Kapoor's talk show that Jigra's script was introduced to her by Karan when she was 2 months postpartum. She stalled it by saying that she was not in that state to sign up and begin. The script waited for her. Who gets this privilege."
Another user wrote, "She didn't confess. Uske muh se nikal gaya, and while she said it, she didn't even know what she was saying."
Another user who loved how Aishwarya mentioned Alia wrote, "When she said, ¡®there¡¯s only good work ahead .. sorry good opportunity¡¯ oof."

Wondering what the Jigra-Savi controversy is all about?
Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra released in theatres on October 11. Actor and filmmaker Divya Khossla over this weekend accused Alia of inflating her box office numbers. Divya made the claims while posting pictures of an empty theatre.
Divya's post sparked debates about whether Jigra and Savi actually had similarities or not, adding fuel to the previous claims that said Jigra had been copied from Savi's storyline.
Meanwhile, adding more to the controversy, now Manipur actor Bijou Thaangjam, known for his work in Mary Kom and Rocketry, has raised allegations of discrimination against Jigra Film's team. Bijou,, while sharing his experience with the makers in a detailed post on X, wrote, "I am not here to jump on the bandwagon with the Jigra controversy over the alleged copying of Divya Khossla¡¯s Savi, but I¡¯ve been keeping my own experience with the Jigra team under wraps for a while, and maybe it¡¯s time to speak up."
Below is the post:
I¡¯m not writing this with any agenda or accusations. I just want to share the reality of how actors like me from the Northeast are often treated by big production houses. Hopefully, this sheds some light on what we face. #Jigra #JigraMovie #AliaBhatt #DivyaKhosla #VasanBala pic.twitter.com/zZBZjxOz6k
