'Wouldn't Want Even My Enemy There¡¯, Ajaz Khan Reveals Meeting Aryan Khan & Raj Kundra In Jail

In 2021, Bigg Boss 7 contestant Ajaz Khan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a suspected drug case. He was found with 31 tablets of Alprazolam with a total weight of 4.5 grams. The actor was later granted bail this year in May after spending two years in jail.

Ajaz has now opened up on his experience in jail and shared how he turned anxious and depressed.

Khan further revealed that he met several known faces in the industry including Aryan Khan, Raj Kundra, Anil Deshmukh, Sanjay Raut and Armaan Kohli. Ajaz told the Times of India, ¡°One day feels like a year inside the jail. I don't want to say anything about the person who made the case against me (refers to Sameer Wankhede), and the world is witnessing what's happening to him.¡±

He continues, ¡°I wish him good luck. I was considered guilty even before the verdict was pronounced. I was finally granted bail by the Supreme Court, but I was in jail for 26 months and I missed out on work and my son's growing-up years. Ek toilet mein 400 log jaate hain. Imagine the state of that toilet!¡±

¡°I went through anxiety and depression. It was tough but I had to survive for my family, which comprises my 85-year-old father, wife, and son.¡±

For the unversed, Aryan was also arrested around the same time as Ajaz. He was detained in concern of drug consumption on a Mumbai cruise ship.

Ajaz Khan revealed, "I met many people, including former state home minister Anil Deshmukh, Sanjay Raut, Armaan Kohli, Aryan Khan, and Raj Kundra, inside the jail. You wouldn't want even your enemy to go through this. I initially refused to meet my son as I didn't want him to see me in prison, but met him eventually after six months, as I wanted him to know my story from me and become strong for the world."

Later, all charges were dropped against Aryan due to a lack of sufficient evidence.

Other than Bigg Boss, Ajaz has been a part of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Comedy Nights with Kapil and Savdhaan India. Khan made his film debut with 2003¡¯s Patth and went on to feature in films like Lamhaa and Allah Ke Banday.
