'There Was A Misunderstanding', Ali Asgar Hasn't Spoken To Kapil Sharma Post Quitting The Show
Ali Asgar has broken the silence on quitting the Kapil Sharma Show. The actor says there was a misunderstanding and he hasn't spoken to Kapil since then.
It has been five years since Ali Asgar quit Kapil Sharma's comedy show and for the first time, he has spilled beans on why he chose to part ways. Asgar has admitted that there was some misunderstanding and he hasn't spoken to Kapil Sharma since then.
Ali Asgar on not talking to Kapil Sharma after quitting his show
Ali who said that he has no qualms about making a comeback and that "it depends on the situation" also told News 18 that "there has been no communication" with Kapil Sharma.
He admitted there was a miscommunication between them.
"There was a miscommunication, kabhi we missed each others' call aur humari mulakat kahi pe nahi ho payi so abhi filhaal toh nahi bol sakta ke main karunga ya nahi karunga," he said.
Furthermore, elaborating on the difference of opinion, he said,
"My difference was regarding the character, the creativeness. Iske ilawa aur koi baat nahi. Aisi koi bahut badi wajah nahi hai ke main nahi kar raha hoon aur main nahi karunga. The day something good comes up, we might be together again. Ye toh waqt hi batayega," he added.
Ali Asgar is currently being seen on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.
He had also revealed to Etimes that he did not get roles that could allow him to showcase his versatility as an artiste. About his exit from The Kapil Sharma Show, Ali Asgar said, "I wasn¡¯t creatively satisfied, as my character (Naani) wasn¡¯t growing. I had intimated the team about it even before going to Australia (2017). I had a lot to perform as Daadi, which wasn¡¯t the case with Naani¡¯s character. When the time came to renew my contract, I shared my apprehensions with the team and told them that I wasn¡¯t too keen on continuing on the show."
Meanwhile, Chandan Prabhakar and Krushna Abhishek have also quit the show recently. Bharti Singh has also admitted that she will not be seen on the show regularly.
