Amitabh Bachchan Was So Impressed With The Script Of 'Chehre' That He Didn't Charge A Penny
When Amitabh Bachchan read the script Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre, he was so impressed that he agreed to be a part of the film for free. She refused the money.
Amitabh Bachchan's next film--all set to be released on Aug 27--is Chehre, a mystery thriller that also stars Emraan Hashmi and Rhea Chakraborty among others.
When Big B read the script of the film, he was so impressed that he agreed to be a part of the film for free. He refused the money.
He didn't charge a single penny and paid for his own travel. Not only that, but he also bore the exuberant cost of chartered planes he used for international travel for the film.
"Sir was so professional and committed that he also put his own money to commute," producer Anand Pandit told Peeping Moon.
"To avoid any trouble while filing the tax books we decided to give the friendly appearance credits to Amit ji."
Also starring Krystle D¡¯Souza, the film's release was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the film is slated to be released on this Friday.
Directed by Rumy Jafry, the film has Drithiman Chakroborthy, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor and Annu Kapoor playing pivotal roles.
"I assure the audience that it will be beyond satisfaction to watch Amitabh ji and Emraan together on the big screen for the first time," was quoted as saying by PTI.
