Arjun Rampal Alleges NCB Seized His Dog's Medication During The Raid At His Home, Claims Report
Arjun Rampal had alleged that NCB seized his dog's pain medication and sister's anxiety pills during the raid. He said that the medication was prescribed by a Veterinary doctor for his dog. The other tabled that was seized was of his sister, prescribed by a psychiatrist from Delhi.
Arjun Rampal had appeared before NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) for the second time a few days ago. The 42-year-old actor was questioned in drugs probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Rajput's questioning reportedly lasted seven hours. If reports are to be believed, he might be re-questioned owing to discrepancy in his statements.
¡°There was a discrepancy in Arjun Rampal¡¯s statement. He can be called for questioning once again,¡± Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB, Mumbai had said.
Now as per a report on ABP News, Rampal had alleged that NCB seized his dog's pain medication and sister's anxiety pills during the raid.
He said that the medication was prescribed by a Veterinary doctor for his dog. The other tabled that was seized was of his sister, prescribed by a psychiatrist from Delhi.
Furthermore, as per a report on CNN News 18, Rampal had arranged for a backdated medical prescription for the tablets illegally through a relative.
"During the probe, we have found a contravention of the NDPS Act in his previous statement and the prescription that he has submitted. As far as the prescription is concerned, it is established that he has committed an offence which can be investigated under Section 29 (punishment for abetment and criminal conspiracy) of the NDPS Act," said an NCB officer as per Mid-Day.
