Ayushmann Khurrana Calls Himself A Shah Rukh Khan Fan, Makes A Wish As He Passes By Mannat
Like any other Shah Rukh Khan fan, Ayushmann Khurrana is still in awe of Mannat. Every time he passes by the bungalow, he gets excited.
Before he made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana--who started his journey in showbiz with MTV Roadies along with Bigg Boss 16's Shalin Bhanot--was an RJ, VJ and even a movie critic. During that time, he interviewed many Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, but things didn't go as planned.
When Ayushmann Khurrana first saw Shah Rukh Khan, he was bowled over.

"I remember our first meeting. I was doing radio and I had to interview him. I couldn't interview him because he was shooting for an ad film. I waited for 6-7 hours and then he was busy. I had to do my show, go back to the studio, so I saw him sitting on the set, I saw him shooting."
Today, Ayushmann Khurrana might be one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood, but even today, he calls himself SRKian.
I really want to. I'm an SRKian and in #bala I've given a tribute to him in my own sweet way. ? https://t.co/YkDGkdBuuT

Like any other Shah Rukh Khan fan, he is still in awe of Mannat. Every time he passes by the bungalow, he gets excited.
Last night he shared a photo of him making a wish as he passed by Shah Rukh Khan's home Mannat. In the caption, he wrote, "Mannat se guzar raha tha. Toh ek mannat maang li. #SRKian".
Do you know Ayushmann had posters of SRK in his bedroom when he was a little boy?
He revealed the same at
Sahitya AajTak 2022 event and called himself a true SRKian. In fact, he decided to study journalism and mass communication because SRK did it too. His family was okay with him becoming an actor but they had one condition - Ayushmann should top the college and then pursue theatre.
"I topped in my college consecutively for three years and that is when I
was finally allowed to participate in theatre. My father used to believe
that if a person is good with academics, they will never have to go to
bed empty stomach," he was quoted as saying.
Shah Rukh Khan impacted my life, Ayushmann had once said.
"He has impacted me in life. I studied mass communication because of Shah Rukh Khan. I wanted to be an actor, I took my studies seriously, and I topped in my college because of him...He's my icon," he told Times Now in an interview.
On work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is busy promoting his forthcoming movie An Action Hero that also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on Dec 2, 2022.
