On Tuesday, May 7, voting began at 7 am for the third phase of the 2024 Indian elections. Singer Arijit Singh was also seen heading to the voting booth to cast his vote with his wife, Koel Roy in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

In the viral video, Arijit, hailing from Jiaganj in the Murshidabad district of Bengal, was captured travelling by scooter with Koel. Notably, the singer was seen riding without a helmet as they arrived at the voting booth.
For the unversed, a video of Arjit Singh unable to acknowledge Mahira Khan at his Dubai concert was making the rounds. In the viral video, Arijit Singh introduced Mahira Khan to the audience.
Praising the singer on Instagram, Mahira wrote, "I wasn¡¯t meant to be here for this.. but.. I guess I was. You know what I mean? What a pleasure it is to watch an artist perform.. whirling in joy, surrounded by love. But more than that, it¡¯s beautiful when you see humility in an artist.. because he knows, it isn¡¯t him.. he¡¯s just been blessed from up above. Stay blessed @arijitsingh Wah! (sic)."
