The actor turned politician, who was recently elected as the MP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi Kangana Ranaut, has reacted to the budget announced today. The BJP leader expressed her satisfaction and said, "Relief funds have been promised for Himachal Pradesh. We are very happy with the budget." Kangana made the remarks while talking to the international news agency ANI as she came out of parliament.

Kangana, just like her usual look, wore a saree to parliament today. The actor later also shared a selfie on her Instagram stories, which was clicked inside the parliament. In the frame with her were actor turned-politician Ravi Kishan and her other colleagues.
Kangana got elected as MP from Mandi, Himachal
Kangana Ranuat was elected to the Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh, defeating Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by 74,755 votes in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat.
The actor was elected as Mandi MP, but soon after that, she was in headlines as the actor turned politician was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport while she was on her way to the Parliament in Delhi after her election win. The CISF constable named Kulwinder said she attacked Kangana in reaction to her old comment on farmers that protested in Delhi. She claimed that one of the protesting farmers was her mother.

Has Kangana left Bollywood?
No, Kangana has not left Bollywood as of now. She is getting ready for the release of her much-awaited film, Emergency. This directorial film of hers is all set to be released in September. The actor is playing the role of the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Other than Kangana, the cast members of the film also include actors like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Shreyas Talpade.
