Case Against Mahesh Manjrekar For Alleged Obscene Scenes Involving Minors In Marathi Film
Mahesh Manjrekar's Marathi movie Nay Varan bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha shows children satiating the physical needs of older women. A case has been registered against him.
Mahesh Manjrekar who has directed critically acclaimed movies like Sanjay Dutt-starrer Vaastav: The Reality and Astitva is now facing a lot of backlash over his latest Marathi film Nay Varan bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha.
Now a case has been registered against the filmmaker for "allegedly showing obscene scenes involving minor children". He has been booked under IPC Section 292, 34, POCSO Section 14 and IT Section 67, 67B.

What is Nay Varan bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha about?
The Mahesh Manjarekar film explores the aspects of growing up in a deprived community. Apparently, the movie shows children satiating the physical needs of older women.
A Twitter user has criticised the movie and wrote, "I saw the trailer of his film & was shocked how he showed such scenes of kids making out with ladies Most women in the film looked like perverts preying on kids How did he make all those kids act in those scenes? Isn¡¯t it against their child rights ?"

The case has been registered against Mahesh Manjrekar after social activist Seema Deshpande said that the alleged obscene scenes are violation of the POCSO Act.
Earlier as well, a complaint was filed against the filmmaker for showing women and children in an objectionable manner in Nay Varan bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha.
