'Celebrate His Life, Before And After', Vidyut Jammwal Remembers Best Friend Sidharth Shukla

Commando actor Vidyut Jammwal could not hold back his tears as he remembered his close friend Sidharth Shukla, who passed away on 2nd September. Sidharth's death came as a rude shock for his family, friends, and fans, and people are still trying hard to cope with it.
To pay a heartfelt tribute to his friend, Vidyut Jammwal held an Instagram Live. Not many know that Vidyut and Sidharth have been best friends since 2004.
They began their journey of friendship as gym partners in Andheri, Mumbai. Later on, they would post about each other on their social media accounts to hype and root for each other!
Vidyut began the 18-minute long video by chanting a prayer and shared details of his friendship. Vidyut recalled how Sidharth would randomly call him to talk and come over to his place without any prior plans.
Vidyut said, ¡°Sidharth was my best friend because I never had another friend like him." As he went on, Jammwal even recalled what he wore when they met for the first time in Mumbai gym in 2004.
From modeling to doing a few shows together, Vidyut and Sidharth have a long history of being 'buddies.'
He was also one of the first people Vidyut showed his Filmfare trophy for Force. He added that Sidharth was a person who used to get genuinely happy for his friends.
Vidyut recalled how Sidharth watched his film Commando on the first day without telling him. Vidyut remembered touching Sidharth's mom, Rita Shukla¡¯s feet blessed him.
Talking about his mother and two sisters, Vidyut added that Sidharth was a different man because three strong women raised him.
While recalling Sidharth's qualities as a human being, Vidyut couldn't hold back his tears.
Apart from being witty and intelligent, Jammwal recollected how Sidharth would use these skills in his professional stints. He added, ¡°It would be challenging to defeat Shukla," he said.
Vidyut added that he had set up a different ring-tone for Sidharth and said ¡®Knock Knock Tera Baap Aaya¡¯ from Commando 3 is actually his song.
Vidyut said he used to be proud of calling him his friend. Before he had met Sidharth, he was the best son in the world, but after meeting Sidharth and seeing his dedication to his mother, he became slightly jealous.
Vidyut expressed his relief that Sidharth could understand and value the kind of love fans poured over him, at least during his lifetime.
¡°Everyone should celebrate his life, before and after," he said.
