Like Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen's sensational revelation about their casual relationship, Ranveer Singh's nude photoshoot controversy has become a never-ending subject of discussion for people across the country.
Following two Police complaints against Ranveer Singh for posting naked pictures on social media, another complaint has been filed against the Gully Boy star.
Reportedly, a complaint was registered against Bollywood actor Ranveer before the Maharashtra State Commission for Women for his bold photoshoot which according to complainant and advocate Ashish Rai, is against the "dignity of women and small children."
According to reports shared by Zoom, Ashish Rai has demanded that the Women¡¯s commission should take action under the suo-moto cognizance and that actor Ranveer Singh should take down his controversial photos from his social media account.
Previously, Ranveer Singh had been booked under IPC sections 509, 292, and 294 and Section 67 A of the IT Act after an FIR was filed against the Bajirao Mastani actor at the Chembur police station.
A legal notice had also been sent to Ranveer Singh by a resident of Nalasopara East for sharing nude photos on social media.
However, talking about the legal implications of Ranveer Singh's nude shoot, advocate Hitesh Jain had told ETimes, ¡°In today's times, nobody can prevent people from filing an FIR, but at the end of the day we have to see whether the ingredient in the FIR makes an offence. I mean it is nowhere making any offence. This case will not hold in court."
The advocate further added that the matter can evoke some curiosity, however, it will not go beyond that. "In Aveek Sarkar's case, there was test that was applied where a person was found nude. And there have been umpteen cases like that. Even if you pose nude it will not amount to obscenity. Ranveer Singh is absolutely not guilty," Hitesh Jain stated.
Unbelievable foolishness and unemployment is rampant in our country! https://t.co/HUfOu74hM6
