"Do the security guards/police/organisers of the show realise what they did by allowing so many people inside an auditorium meant for 2000 people? Will the authorities of Nazrul Mancha now please wake up?" wrote Rupsha Dasgupta who works for Fossils, a rock band based in Kolkata.
Armaan Malik has also stated that concerts in India need better management.
"Concerts in India need better mgmt, medical & emergency facilities. I¡¯ve seen and been part of far too many shows that don¡¯t serve the right conditions for us to perform in. But yet, being the artists we are, we continue with performing coz we don¡¯t wanna disappoint our fans."

When a Twitter user asked Malik as to why the singers don't ask for better facilities, he said, "FYI many artists don¡¯t even have show contracts w promoters & if they are at a level where they do & they were properly followed we wouldn¡¯t have to see a day like this. When artists stick to their contracts and don¡¯t budge, promoters say ¡®attitude bahut hai, maangein toh dekho¡¯ (promoters say, ¡®You have a lot of attitude, look at the demands)."
And henceforth that artist is not booked and then his live business suffers (which is the main income for any artist in this country) coz we don¡¯t make money singing songs. Guess you didn¡¯t know that either. We would all want these facilities for our shows, do we get them? NO.

Health comes first. Nothing else matters. We are all learning it the hard way.

Meanwhile, the post-mortem report has confirmed that singer KK died of cardiac arrest. The report also stated that he had weak lungs and liver, reports Times Now.
KK performed at a concert organised by a college at Nazrul Mancha in south Kolkata for almost an hour in the evening. He was "feeling heavy" after reaching his hotel, and soon collapsed, officials said. He was taken to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said. "KK was brought to the hospital around 10 pm. It's unfortunate that we could not treat him," a senior official of the hospital said. Doctors at the hospital said they suspected "cardiac arrest" to be the cause of the death. A senior officer of the Kolkata Police told PTI that a post-mortem would be conducted on Wednesday to ascertain the exact reason for the death.
