Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh React To Ranbir Kapoor's ¡®I¡¯m Done Promoting Brahmastra¡¯ Video
Ranbir Kapoor who was recently all out for Brahmastra's promotions is now fed up with it. Sharing a video of his frustration, he has made the internet go LOL including his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
Alia Bhatt recently shared a video of Ranbir Kapoor looking visibly tired of promoting Brahmastra as the film will soon stream on an OTT platform. Brahmastra which saw massive box-office success will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4th. In reaction to the video, Ranbir¡¯s Ex and Alia¡¯s best buddy have dropped their comments.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to the comments section of Alia Bhatt's post and left a series of emojis on the hilarious video.
What does the video show?
In the video, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen complaining about promoting Brahmastra Part One - Shiv as this Ayan Mukherji directorial gears for its OTT release. The film which hit theatres on September 9 this year also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna alongside Alia and Ranbir.
Ranbir is seen confronting someone that Ayan is planning to start promoting Brahmastra for OTT viewers and that he has done enough of it. He even takes a dig at Alia¡¯s ¡®Shiva¡¯ dialogue and says, ¡®Itna to Alia ne film mein Shiva Shiva nahi bola hoga¡¯. He even joked that Alia has lost her voice singing Kesariya at every promotional event before.
The video which was captioned ¡°Hard facts¡± also has reactions from celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar and Soni Razdan. Ranbir also mentions in the video that he¡¯s looking forward to being a father and not someone who will keep on promoting Brahmastra. Later in the video, Ranbir gets a call from Ayan and he readily agrees to promote the film only to regret it later after disconnecting the call.
Eagled-eye fans also spotted Ranbir Kapoor¡¯s lock screen in the video and loved it as it was of his late father actor Rishi Kapoor.
Earlier in an interview with India Today, Ranbir had opened up on Rishi Kapoor being a ¡®box office guy¡¯ saying, ¡°He was always very respectful of the numbers and how the film fared at the ticket window. He knew that if the film did well at the box office then perhaps I was wrong with my views. He knew that audience is the king and there is no one above the box office.¡±
Brahmastra Part One ¨C Shiva was the first of a planned trilogy in the Astraverse by Ayan Mukerji. The film which did a box-office business close to INR 425 crores gross worldwide also featured Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Dimple Kapadia in impressive cameos.
