On Thursday, Deepika shared an Instagram story saying, "Hi, I¡¯m going live tomorrow¡ So stay tuned! Okay bye," without giving more details about the live session. Fans are curious if she will address the trolls during the live session.
Support has been pouring in for Deepika. On Wednesday, fellow actress Alia Bhatt publicly supported her. The backlash against Deepika began when she went to vote in the Mumbai Lok Sabha Election on May 20, where she faced harsh comments online about her appearance.
Journalist Faye D¡¯Souza also defended Deepika, writing on Instagram, "Dear social media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave." Alia Bhatt and her family members liked the post, showing their support.
