Devoleena Lashes Out When Compared To Dipika K. Ibrahim Over Claims Of Conversion To Islam
TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has reacted to claims of converting to Islam after being reminded of Dipika Kakar Ibrahim.
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee who became a household name with her role as Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhana Sathiya recently married Shanwaz Sheikh in a court marriage. The TV actress has been a target of trolls since then as one part of the internet is not settling with her inter-faith marriage.

On the other hand, author Taslima Nasreen called out Rakhi Sawant¡¯s conversion to Islam after marrying Adil Durrani. Devoleena in defence jumped in to save Rakhi but fell into another trap when a troll compared her to another actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim who also happens to marry Shoaib Ibrahim, a Muslim by faith.

Amid being hit by trolls from all sides and for so many reasons, Devoleena in a series of Tweets vented out her anger.
Taslima Nasreen tweeted ¡°Even Rakhi Sawant had to convert to Islam because she married a man who happened to be a Muslim. Like other religions, Islam must be evolved and accept marriages between Muslims and non-Muslims.¡± In defence Devoleena had written, ¡°During my college days I read your novels. Well, I married to a Muslim guy and we dint do any kind of conversion or name changing etc etc.¡±
¡°Nobody forced me in fact. And we all are happy this way. We have Special Act for it. And our families are ok with it. So it is evolving. But its a choice again. I bet Rakhi did covert out of her choice because she wants to be with her husband. It is her choice to accept his religion to get married. Mine is totally different from it. But still people have issues with that too. The answer is Only Hatred All Around."

It was then that a netizen trolled Devoleena and their conversation over Twitter is making netizens have a field day.
The troll tweeted, ¡°He will do it , he will make you feel everything that could lead you to accept izlam and hate Idol worshiping ,like dipika kakkar ibrahim. (sic)¡± Devoleena replied to him saying, ¡°I can say the same for you as well that you may supress your woman and make her do things which she might not like or agree. Analyse yourself before you judge anyone on the bassis of a religion. There a lakhs of women all over in all religions who desperately need help. Help them.(sic)¡± See the thread here:-
