Some think his PR team is in overdrive with captions like, "If there's one person who's going to dominate Bollywood, it's Veer Pahariya," while others are comparing him to TV heartthrob Karan Singh Grover of Dill Mill Gayye fame.

The internet is having a field day with comparisons between Veer Pahariya and Karan Singh Grover.

The 42-year-old TV heartthrob, famous for his role in the serial Dill Mill Gayye, was adored for his on-screen charm and chemistry with his co-stars.

But social media isn't holding back when it comes to the comparisons.

One user quipped that Pahariya looks like a "chusa hua Karan Singh Grover," while another said, "Karan Singh Grover was a hottie, but Paharganj wishes he had that."

Some even went as far as saying, "Karan had those expressive eyes, while Pahariya looks more like a young KRK," and others called him the "sasta" version of Karan Singh Grover. Ouch!

Who is Veer Pahariya?

Veer Pahariya, born in 1995, is the grandson of former Maharashtra CM Sushil Kumar Shinde on his maternal side.

He hails from a family with a media and production background, as his mother Smriti Shinde owns Sobo Films Pvt Ltd.

Veer's brother Shikhar Pahariya is currently dating actress Janhvi Kapoor, adding some extra glamour to the family.

Veer himself was previously in the limelight for his relationship with actress Sara Ali Khan, which she confirmed in a candid interview with Filmfare, saying, "He's the only one I have dated. I have had no other boyfriends in my life."

Before stepping into the acting scene, Veer worked as an assistant director on the 2022 film Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

Now, he is all set for his debut in the action-packed series Sky Force, where he stars opposite his ex, Sara Ali Khan.
