Kashmiri Twitter users have roasted Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri for trying to cook a 'vegetarian' Wazwan in Kashmir.
Reacting to this with complete shock is Vivek Agnihotri himself who can't believe how quick people are to hate others for absolutely no reason.
Detailing the entire controversy and exactly what happened, Vivek Agnihotri explains how a simple and innocent suggestion shouldn't have been misunderstood.
¡°I was in Kashmir to shoot my film, The Kashmir Files. A lot of local people, young artists, creative people, actors, RJs always want to meet me wherever I go. So, I invited people for dinner and I requested my hotel to make Wazwan for everybody. Since I am a vegetarian, I requested to make a vegetarian thali but they said in Kashmir it is not possible but I enquired with some locals and found out that while it's true that Wazwan is always non - vegetarian, getting a vegetarian thali is possible too," said the director.
"They served me the thali and I posted about it. It was a simple innocent tweet but then immediately after the tweet, all the separatists, academicians, etc started trolling me. Then all these terrorism sympathetic journalists and newspapers started reporting it," shared Vivek.
Wazwan has a distinct place in kashmiri Muslim cuisine. It cant be replaced with any veg food.If you want to enjoy pure veg food, you should try Kashmiri Pandit veg cuisine which is entirely different, without onion and garlic. Our Non Veg food is also without onion garlic.

Explaining the circumstances that led him to delete the tweet, Vivek Agnihotri said the abuse and trolling got out of hand.
"It was impossible for the local guest to survive this abuse and trolling. In fact, some women guests were with me. They were threatened, trolled, abused all kinds of things that happened to me. I thought that is not right for them to suffer because of a tweet of mine. Therefore, I deleted it with great pain and disappointment," said the filmmaker.
With deep pain I am deleting this tweet because ever since I posted it, my local guests have come under intense threat, abuse & trolling from evil minds. I had learnt that people who eat together stay together but some people don¡¯t want anyone to stay together. May God bless all. pic.twitter.com/RcAy8kNFlj
