Actress Divya Dutta who lent her voice to the Controversial Tanishq Advertisement in question says she is extremely sad about what happened. With that, she asks, "Don¡¯t we all promote brotherhood?" and right so. After all, we have all been taught, "Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isai, Hum Sab Hain Bhai Bhai".
What celebrated people from different walks of life coming together to celebrate the beauty of oneness was unfortunately pulled down after a section of people thought that the advertisement promoted 'love Jihad'.
This has infuriated a lot of people including Bollywood stars.
Dutta said this in response to a tweet by a user who asked her if it was her voice in the commercial. "Yes it¡¯s my voice. It is sad it's taken off air. I loved it," she responded.

When another user tried to justify the removal of ad, Dutta asked a relevant question.
But sir don¡¯t we all promote brotherhood?? We as India are all about that. That¡¯s our soul sir. Unity in diversity bachpan mein sunte the. Aise to kitne ads hote the. Koi kuch nai kehta tha.. par chalein sabke apne vichar! ????

Not only Dutta, several other Bollywood celebs have also raised their voice in the same concern.
Dear #tanishq, most people attacking you can¡¯t afford you anyway.

And given where their thinking will take this economy, they soon won¡¯t have jobs and hence definitely won¡¯t able to buy anything from #tanishq in the future too. Don¡¯t worry about them.
"Such a massive company, such a fragile spine", wrote Swara Bhasker.

Sad lack of spine.. and conviction. Numerous women (and men) get death threats on social media on a daily basis.. they stand up to it. Unfortunate that a large corporate conglomerate is unable to gather the courage (and resources) to withstand a few days of trolling! ? #tanishq https://t.co/PBDPVlRxZe

Propaganda by definition is a rumour or a lie. If an ad shows inter-faith marriages, that's not propaganda. That's fact. They exist in every neighbourhood in India. Deal with it.

TBH, reacting to paid twitter trends and manufactured outrage is just myopic. The ad was lovely. Standing by it would have made 'em cooler, foresighted and balsy. But alas. #tanishq https://t.co/A3b9FuxcHg

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut claimed that the ad promoted "sexism" and "love jihad".
Tanishq removed the advertisement stating, ¡°We are deeply saddened with the inadvertent stirring of emotions and withdraw this film keeping in mind the hurt sentiments and well being of our employees, partners and store staff.¡±
