People are trolling Adipurush's VFX so brutally that Ajay Devgn's company has clarified it is not behind it.
"Looks like a cartoon movie."
That's what a Twitter user wrote after watching the tease of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. Some even compared it to kids' favorite cartoon Chhota Bheem. Amid the backlash, everyone is wondering which company is behind the "poor" VFX of the film that stars Saif Ali Khan in the role of Raavan.

Prasad Sutar trolled for Adipurush's VFX
In the midst of the backlash, many questioned Prasad Sutar, who is the co-founder of Ajay Devgn's NY VFXwalla, as his name appears in the credit slate of the teaser as one of the producers as well as VFX supervisors of the film. The trolling was so brutal that he had to issue a statement to clarify.

In a statement, NY VFXwalla has denied working on Prabhas-starrer Adipurush
The statement reads, "Leading VFX Studio, NY VFXwalla has clarified that they have not worked / are not working on the CG/special effects of Adipurush. An official note on their behalf clarified, 'we are putting this on record because we have been asked by a few media people."

The visual effects in the movie are so bad that people are comparing with other films like Brahmastra, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Ra One and even 30-year-old animated Ramayan.

Earlier in an interview with IANS, Prabhas had called the film sentimentally very important project in his life.
"Adipurush sentimentally is a very important project for my life. Om Raut, luckily I have a very good director. I had called him after three days and asked 'should I do it?' because if I do make mistake it will be very wrong," he said.
Furthermore, he asserted, "It is not just a film. It is not a film, it is something very important and everyone will be having a look at it. I was really frightened of it and is very important for me. It is something else I feel."
Also starring Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Vatsal Sheth, Trupti Toradma, Adipurush is slated to hit the screens on Jan 12, 2023.
