The chocolate boy of the 90s, Fardeen Khan who ruled the hearts of many with films like Jungle, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, and Heyy Babyy among others, faded into oblivion after he was allegedly caught buying cocaine and was arrested in 2001. Years later, he was spotted by the paparazzi but he looked unrecognisable. Khan was overweight and was body-shamed by many. However, he lost weight soon and got back in shape. Now, he is all set to make a comeback with the horror drama Visfot and is reportedly playing a pivotal role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi.

Back in 2016 when Fardeen Khan was trolled, he wrote on Facebook, "Not ashamed, depressed or blind". He added, "I believe the right to laugh at another is earned by having the courage to laugh at yourself."
And then he left everyone stunned with his transformation. Apart from diet and lifestyle changes, he said that his family played a big role in motivating him.
"When you are a parent, keeping up with your kids becomes a challenge if you are not in the best of your shape. My daughter enjoys skating, cycling and my son runs around in the park. As a father you want to go hiking with them, you want to introduce them to the sports you played. Now, that¡¯s part of the job of being a parent. This made me realise the importance of being fit," Khan told Bombay Times in an interview while talking about his daughter Diana and son Azarius and how they influenced him to switch to a healthy routine.
How Fardeen Khan lost 16 kgs in six months
Fardeen lost weight by changing his lifestyle, working out and eating right. "I started eating right and healthy, coupled with correct workouts. I have lost 18 kg in the last six months, but 35 percent journey is yet to go in this aspect. In the work that we do in our industry, you are expected to look your best and you indeed want to look your best," he said.
He added that losing weight was not as difficult as maintaining it. "When you work out you initially lose weight, but then there's a point where it becomes stable, that¡¯s a challenge to work harder and lose weight further. I am happy I was able to push myself and made working out a part of my routine."
