Farhan Akhtar's first wife Adhuna Bhabani recently sent out a warning to the people trolling her to not cross the line. Her post came days after Akhtar's wedding with Shibani Dandekar.
"Heads up trollers. I¡¯m just straight-up blocking anyone who doesn¡¯t have something positive to contribute here!," she wrote.
Celebrities like Priety Zinta and Manisha Koirala supported her on this post.
Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani had met during the filming of Dil Chahta Hai and fell in love. Bhabani who is now dating Dino Morea's brother Nicolo Morea had made her debut with this film as a hairstylist.
She has worked as a hairstylist in many other projects that include Dil Dhadakne Do, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dangal, Raaes and many more. Adhuna launched her own hairstyling brand, BBlunt in 2004.
Farhan and Adhuna have two daughters together - Akira and Shakya - who also attended his wedding with Shibani Dandekar.
While rumours had claimed that Farhan and Adhuna broke up because the former was dating Aditi Rao Hydari during the shooting of Wazir, Aditi Rao Hydari had however rubbished claims. "It's part of our job...Some days, I am irritated for five minutes, and then we all laugh and get on with our work. I actually find it entertaining," she said.
Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani parted ways in 2017. In a joint statement, they both said, "This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner."
