FIR Filed Against Kangana Ranaut In Karnataka Over Tweet Allegedly Targeting Farmers Protests
An FIR has been filed against Kangana Ranaut for allegedly mocking and targeting those who were protesting against the farms bills. In a tweet, she had allegedly called it "terror."
Kangana Ranaut doesn't mince her words, and that has caused her a lot of trouble, especially in the recent times. She is continuing to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Now, a court in Tumakuru district of Karnataka has directed the police to register a case against Kangana Ranaut over her tweet allegedly targeting farmers protesting the farm laws.
The complaint has been filed by lawyer L Ramesh Naik. Based on his complaint, Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court has directed the inspector of Kyathasandra police station to register an FIR against the actress.
The court said the complainant had filed an application under section 156(3) of the CrPC for investigation.
"The office is hereby directed to issue intimation to the circle police inspector of Kyathasandra police station along with (a) photostat copy of the complaint for report", the court added.

This comes after Kangana on Sep 21 had tweeted, "People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmers bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation."

Naik said this tweet had hurt him and prompted him to file a case against Ranaut. Earlier as well, Kangana had hurt the sentiments of people by comparing Mumbai with PoK.
