Reportedly, the complaint has been registered at Delhi's Desh Bandhu Gupta Road police station. 'Flying Beast' Gaurav Taneja was recently arrested after his wife had allegedly booked an entire metro to celebrate his birthday with fans.
As per reports, Gaurav Taneja's followers gathered at Noida's Sector 51 metro station on July 9, to celebrate his birthday. However, he didn't imagine that it would land him in trouble.
Reports suggest that hundreds of people flocked to the metro station to meet Gaurav Taneja after his wife Ritu Rathee Taneja invited them to celebrate his birthday in the most unusual manner.
Police immediately rushed to the spot to handle the situation and Gaurav was booked for allegedly violating section 144 of the CrPC and section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant). However, he was granted bail hours after his arrest.
Gaurav Taneja has opened up about his arrest in a latest interview with TOI. Recalling his extremely traumatic birthday on July 9, Gaurav Taneja said that he feels it was a bit unfair the way the situation was handled.
"I had requested the officials multiple times, with folded hands, not to share my pictures with the media, but they did. At least they should have blurred my face. I was only an accused at the time. I feel that was quite unfair. Police officials were clicking pictures with me, everyone was video calling their families to have a chat with me. I was joking around with them, but nobody bothered to tell me that I was being arrested."
