TV broadcaster NBC announced last May that it would not air the annual awards show, considered a precursor to the Academy Awards, after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) received sharp criticism for its lack of diversity and allegations of corruption.
This year, Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the organization behind the Golden Globes awards, decided to hold the annual awards without a usual ceremony and red carpet event.
Congratulations to all of those nominated and all the 79th #GoldenGlobe winners! ?
