Guneet Monga slays the Oscars 2025 red carpet in a stunning Manish Malhotra corset-saree
On Monday, renowned Indian film producer Guneet Monga made an impressive entrance on the 97th Academy Awards red carpet. She wore an exquisite brown outfit designed by Manish Malhotra, a well-known Indian designer.

In a gorgeous outfit, Indian film producer Guneet Monga made a statement on the Oscars 2025 red carpet. Wearing a custom Manish Malhotra ensemble and jewelry, the 2023 Academy Award-winning producer, whose short film Anuja, received a nomination in the Best Short Film (Live Action) category at the 2025 Oscars, walked the red carpet.
The unique ensemble thrilled Monga, who said, "This didn't even exist in my vocabulary that I could also have an afterparty outfit."

¡°We wanted to celebrate the saree on the international red carpet once again. However, this time, for the Oscars we styled Guneet in a rather sharper look in comparison to the traditional pink Benarasi sari featuring elephant motifs that she draped at the 2023 Oscars," shared celebrity fashion stylist, Manisha Melwani as per News18.
Did Guneet Monga-backed Anuja win an Oscar?
Well, unfortunately, Guneet Monga, Mindy Kaling and Priyanka Chopra-backed Anuja could not win at the Oscars 2025. While fans did have their hopes up high, the movie lost to a Dutch documentary called I¡¯m Not A Robot. Despite the loss, the internet is still proud of the movie and continues to praise it for its compelling topic.
