This happened after Ranbir Kapoor mocked Anushka for her anxiety problem. "Anushka is the anxiety queen. She takes anti-anxiety pills even if she has to have a conversation because she's frantic. I have seen her do that. She has a medical problem. She has a dental problem and a hygiene problem also, but we accept her. She is special," he said.
Anushka who was clearly uncomfortable at this in turn joked about his drug habits. "Such a horrible person, spreading rumours about me," she said. When asked what she thought of Ranbir, the actress said, "I think he does drugs so that he can be more upbeat. Otherwise, he's such a dull person, so he has to do a couple of..." However, this did not sit too well with Ranbir, who then said, "Don¡¯t say that Anushka, that's wrong. You can't say that on television."
Ranbir Kapoor had once said his uncle Randhir Kapoor has dementia
Known for his unfiltered statements, Ranbir Kapoor in an earlier interview had also said that his uncle Randhir Kapoor was suffering from early stage of dementia. Ranbir revealed that Randhir had forgotten about Rishi Kapoor's passing. "My uncle Randhir Kapoor, who is going through an early stage of dementia, came to me after the film and said, 'Tell dad (Ranbir's late father Rishi Kapoor) that he is amazing, and where is he, let's call him'".
In response to this, Randhir Kapoor said, "Ranbir ki marzi (Ranbir's wish), he is entitled to say what he wants. I never said that. I am alright. In fact, I have just returned from Goa with Rahul Rawail. We were there at the Goa festival."
