After the Love Jihad row, Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb is facing the heat from Hindu Sena, demanding title change of the movie. The Sena has written a letter to Prakash Javadekar and threatened to protest outside cinema halls.
Since the time the trailer of Laxmmi Bomb has been released, the Akshay Kumar starrer film has been embroiled in various controversies. On Twitter, people have been asking to boycott the film owing to the title of the film and also because of the alleged interfaith wedding.

Bringing more trouble to the makers of the movie, now Hindu Sena has reportedly written a letter to Information and Broadcast Minister Prakash Javadekar calling for an appropriate action against the movie.

The outfit allegedly has problem with the title of the movie. It says that the film's title is making mockery of Hindu Goddess Laxmi and is also hurting the sentiments of the community.

The Sena, in the letter, has stated that if its demand is not met, the members will protest outside cinema halls. With that, they have also requested people to boycott the film if in case the title remains unchanged.

"The name of the movie is highly derogatory and offensive in nature, the name of Hindu Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of fortune and wealth has been used in the movie title along with the word Bomb which is unacceptable to the Hindu community. In the said name of the movie Bomb word has been used to provoke the Hindu community," Vishnu Gupta, National President of Hindu Sena was quoted as saying by Zoom TV.
