Hrithik Roshan shows support for Kangana Ranaut after slap incident

At the airport in Chandigarh on Thursday, a CISF constable slapped actor-politician Kangana Ranaut. A day after winning the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana was on her way to Delhi for a meeting. Numerous well-known people condemned the attack on Kangana. Now, Hrithik Roshan has also responded to the controversy by liking a post shared by Journalist Faye D'Souza about the incident.

The post read, ¡°With reference to the incident of MP Kangana Ranaut being slapped at an airport, violence can never be the answer. Especially not in our country that was born out of Gandhi¡¯s ideals of non- violence. It doesn¡¯t matter how much we disagree with views and statements made by someone, we cannot react with violence and we should not condone it. It is particularly dangerous when security personnel react violently while in uniform. Imagine, over the last ten years, if those of us who questioned power were assaulted at airports by constables who were in agreement with that power.¡±

Alia Bhatt liked the post, as did celebrities like Soni Razdan and Zoya Akhtar. Kangana's rumored ex, star Hrithik Roshan, also liked the post, showing solidarity with her after the incident.

In an already-deleted post, Kangana Ranaut previously blasted Bollywood for allegedly not supporting her following the reported slap incident. The politician-actor stated on Saturday that those who had no problem invading someone's personal space would likewise have ¡°no problem committing serious crimes like rapes and murders¡±.

"Every rapist, murderer, or thief always has a strong emotional, physical, psychological, or financial reason to commit a crime, no crime ever happens without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail. If you are aligned with the criminal's strong emotional impulse to commit a crime, violating all laws of the land," Kangana Ranaut had written.

Hrithik Roshan And Kangana Ranaut's Controversy

In an interview, Kangana brought up "silly exes," which sparked controversy. Hrithik Roshan sent her a formal notice requesting a retraction, even though he wasn't mentioned. This led to a public altercation in which Hrithik's assertions were refuted by Kangana and her attorney, Rizwan Siddiquee. After exchanging legal notifications in 2016, Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut sparked a debate that had numerous facets and no obvious conclusion.
