For the unversed, Kangana's great-grandfather Sarju Singh Ranaut was a Member of the Legislative Assembly and her grandfather was an IAS officer. She also revealed her father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all associated with Congress.

2. Kangana challenges Rahul Gandhi
Calling Rahul Gandhi a dangerous person, she asked if Rahul Gandhi considers the killer of his grandmother and former PM Indira Gandhi, Bhindranwale a terrorist. She said if Gandhi answered this, she would take her words back and would never go to the parliament ever again.
3. Kangana slammed Bollywood stars for endorsing tobacco, doing item songs and not speaking on national matters
She also slammed actors who are promoting and endorsing tobacco brands. "Bollywood has ruined our nation. They should take onus for it. These actors show off their net worth but then endorse tobacco.... They charge Rs 10 lakh, Rs 5 lakh or so for posting (Instagram) stories or on Twitter," she said News18 Chaupal. Furthermore, she said that these actors contribute to "sexualisation of children" by doing item songs.

4. Kangana on the delay in release of her film Emergency
Talking about the delay in the release of her film Emergency, which was scheduled to hit the theatres on September 8 but is still awaiting a certificate from the censor board, she said that only a small section of society has objected to her film. Questioning their objection to showing Sikhs as separatists, she gave the example of Bhindranwale, a controversial figure in Sikh history, and said, "It is our history which has been intentionally hidden. We are not told about this. Bhale logo ka zamaana nahi hai,¡± which translates to, ¡°The time of good people has passed."

Kangana Ranaut said that she sold off her Mumbai bungalow, which was used as the office of her production house Manikarnika Films, for Rs 32 crore because of a delay in the release of her film Emergency. "Naturally, my film was supposed to be released. I put all my personal property on it. Now that it's not released, so anyway, that's what properties are for ¨C for times of crisis," she said.
