Sansa Stark In Game Of Thrones
Sophie's character in GOT goes through a lot of trauma right after the head of the Stark family, Ned, was executed in public. From facing Joffrey Lannister's cruelty to being married to the psychopathic Ramsay Bolton, Sansa's sufferings in the show made us all uncomfortable.
Talking about shooting for such emotionally heavy scenes, Sophie told The Cut, "I¡¯m sure I¡¯ll exhibit some symptoms of trauma down the road. At that age, I don¡¯t think I could comprehend a lot of the scene matter. And the first few years, I had my mom with me because she was chaperoning me, so she would be very helpful and give me snacks. I don¡¯t know what it is, but I feel like a 10-year-old in a school play again when someone that I know comes and sees me on set. I feel so embarrassed."
Talking about developing a 'coping mechanism' while shooting for GOT, Sophie said, "It's just something that growing up on a show like Game of Thrones, the subject matter was so heavy that I just developed a coping mechanism of just having the most fun in between takes, so I wouldn¡¯t get traumatized."
Sophie Turner is expecting her second child with husband Joe Jonas. She recently attended the Met Gala with her husband and her look had grabbed attention.
The actress went for a loose-fit black gown with cuffed sleeves, frilled neckline and silver embellishments. She paired the outfit with a bold red lipstick and wavy, open hair and flaunted her baby bump at the event. As for her husband Joe Jonas, he complimented his wife in black and white.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, a daughter in 2020.
