In 1974, Pooja Bedi's mother Protima Bedi ran naked on Juhu Beach for a newly launched Cine Blitz magazine. Even 46 years ago, it didn't create such a huge controversy as it did in the case of Poonam Pandey recently. What is interesting here is that just a few days ago, Milind Soman ran naked on a beach in Goa too. He, on the other hand, was being hailed for what he did. He is still being lauded.

So, we are clearly kinder to men when it comes to posing nude in comparison to women.

Twitter has been raising a voice against this hypocrisy.
You can either make a woman a victim like everyone did to Poonam Pandey or hail her as a queen like you should to Protima Bedi.

Protima far better comparison to Milind than Poonam. Only for the fact that she streaked in Juhu beach way before he did. ?
Protima bedi streaking is uber cool. Poonam pandey is uncool. As simple as that. Perspective kaho ya bias.

Poonam Pandey was arrested for the same. It is said that she allegedly trespassed on government property and shot an "objectionable" video at a dam in Canacona town. Two policemen were also suspended for allegedly providing protection to the shoot.

Pandey has however been granted bail on Thursday.
