To honour and pay tribute to the rising star we lost last year, Indian government is reportedly planning to name a national award after Sushant Singh Rajput.
His fans are still not over his death, especially concerning the mystery that remains unsolved even today nine months after his death.
His family is still waiting for justice, and so is his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who pleads she isn't guilty or involved in his death. The void in the hearts of his fans persist.
The government, meanwhile, is planning to permanently inscribe his name into the National awards, revealed a source close to BJP.
"Yes, they are planning to instate a National film award named after Sushant Singh Rajput. The proposal has been put forth. But then as we all know bureaucracy and politics are slow movers. It's taking time to push the idea forward. But we will get there, I am sure," the insider told Bollywood Hungama.
Other tributes in Rajput's name include a road named after him in South Delhi. On his birthday in January, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) named a road after him -- Late Sushant Singh Rajput Marg -- in Inder Colony adjacent to Defence Colony police station.

In his hometown in Bihar, another road has been named after him. An an intersection in Purnea, Bihar, which was earlier called Ford Company Chowk, has been now renamed as Sushant Singh Rajput chowk.
