The film has also been nominated for Best Film and German Star of India award at the festival.

The lineup for Indian Film Festival Stuttgart also includes Shefali Shah's directorial project Someday and Malayalam feature The Great Indian Kitchen.
The event will be held virtually owing to the pandemic.
Sheer Qorma, which is based on an LGBTQ+ theme and narrates the story of love and acceptance, had its world premiere at the BAFTA Qualifying Frameline: San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival.
Directed by Farad Asif Ansari, the film is yet to be released for public.
