Internet supports Swara Bhasker as she reacts to food blogger¡¯s body shaming post

Pregnancy brings several changes to the body, including postpartum depression, weight gain and so much more. It's an uphill battle in and of itself to give birth and grow a child for nine months. There are numerous obstacles in the way of the entire process. It is only normal for Swara Bhasker to have gained weight after giving birth to a baby girl recently. Unfortunately, a food blogger commented on Swara's weight gain on X, asking, "What did she eat?"

Another added,¡±She recently delivered a baby. Ask your mother, probably she can explain it better what a lady goes through both emotionally and physically during pregnancy & child birth.¡±

A third added, ¡°Don¡¯t stoop so low for engagement, show some decency. Irrespective of the reason, what gives you the audacity to discuss and mouth off about that on your social media handle? Are you hoping for cyber pervs to have their say on that in your comments?.¡±

A fourth wrote, ¡°Ugh! Body-shaming a woman because you don't have a logical response to her tweet calling you out on your self-righteous pro-vegetarianism tweet on Bakr-Eid (timing that you now claim was coincidental). How funny that your bio says you're interested in women's empowerment. Shame!.¡±

Swara on food blogger¡¯s ¡®proud to be vegetarian¡¯ tweet

Swara recently criticized Nalini for tweeting that she was "proud to be a vegetarian". Nalini had posted a photo of her meal on X. "I'm proud to be a vegetarian. My plate is free from tears, cruelty and guilt."

Swara wrote, responding to it, "Honestly¡­ I don¡¯t understand this smug self-righteousness of vegetarians. Your entire diet is made up of denying the calf its mother¡¯s milk.. forcibly impregnating cows, then separating them from their babies & stealing their milk."

She further added, "You eat root vegetables? That kills the whole plant! Please relax with the virtue signalling just because it¡¯s Bakr Eid! (Folded hands emojis)."

For the unversed, Swara married Fahad Ahmad in February last year. The couple was blessed with their first child on September 23 last year.
