When Jacqueline Fernandez stepped on the stage for the act that kickstarted the IPL 2016 opening night, we expected a great performance. But what she delivered was way beyond that.
The Sri Lankan beauty set the temperatures soaring while mixing her best moves on her hit songs including "Yaar Na Mile" from Kick. Wearing thigh high boots, black top and a leather skirt, she gave a power-packed performance.
Even before the audience could stop swaying after Jacky's act, Kings United stepped on the stage and successfully maintained the momentum the actress gave to the grand ceremony. With their excellent rhythmic moves, the bronze medallist of the World Hip Hop Championships turned out to be fireworks.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt made a surprise entry as he arrived with wife Manyata at the opening night. He said he was there to cheer for the eight participating IPL teams. Preity Zinta looked ravishing in red as she made the first appearance after her wedding. Don't miss her chooda!
Harbhajan Singh was having a ball in the audience sitting with wife and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra. Bhajji said "life is better after marriage". Hope his play with defending champions Mumbai Indians is equally better!
Katrina Kaif better known for her belly moves was at it one more time. Starting with "Dhoom Machale", she went on to shake a leg on "Bang Bang" and "Afghan Jalebi" too.
Some fans jokingly said her belly had more expressions than her face. LOL!
And no sizzler show is complete without Yo Yo Honey Singh.
He began with his famous "Angrezi Beat" rap and made the audience swoon with the "Manali Trance".
West Indian T20 World Cup winner Dwayne Bravo made the crowd sway to his hit number "Champion".

He even made the B-Town celebs dance to his signature step.
Actor Ranveer Singh was a ball of fire and energy this time too, and if there is anyone we can call a show-stopper, it was this hunk.
Ranveer gave a stellar show as he began with "Tattad Tattad" and "Gallan Goodiyan". He finished it with his Bajirao style with some sword dance too. This man knows how to stand out in the crowd!
It was a perfect closure as Major Lazer lit up the stage with singer Shweta Pandit crooning to worldwide superhit "Lean On".
It definitely left the crowd on their feet!
