The story of Vada Pav Girl
Chandrika Dixit used to work at Haldirams. However, she had to quit her job to take care of her son. Unable to make the ends meet, she turned her passion for cooking into a thriving street food business. She put up a stall on the busting streets of Delhi and would put up her own reels. As her cart attracted attention from Food Bloggers, she became popular on social media. Fans would often queue up outside her stall. While she says it's the taste of her Vada Pavs that made her popular, others believe she attracted people due to her beauty.

"People are seeing just the virality that happened now but I have worked for 27 years. I have faced a lot of hardships in my life too where we never had money for food. We have eaten at langars, and survived ourselves without our parents looking over. I never started my business for going viral. I just wanted to earn for myself and my family. Also, if it's so easy for people to get into ¡®Bigg Boss¡¯ via vada pav card, then please go ahead. Everyone should do it," she said.
She revealed her husband also quit his job to support her business. Her mother-in-law also pitches in. "I have put down the SOP in detail and given it to them. The stall will keep running and we will continue to keep our customers happy. They are also like family to me, and I am sure they would support me with votes too," she was quoted as saying by India Today.
Chandrika Dixit has now rented a shop in Delhi.
