Jared Leto's First Look As Joker From Justice League Is Out & Heath Ledger's Fans Are Impressed

The much awaited first look of Jared Leto as Justice League's Joker has finally been released. The highly anticipated film which is scheduled to release in March globally, has Leto essaying the role after 2016's Suicide Squad.

In this one, for which black and white images have been shared, Leto has longer and darker hair. His face makeup looks more like that of Heath Ledger's portrayal of Joker. He is also sporting a hospital gown.

Epic battle between Batman and Joker

Talking about Justice League, Zack Snyder explained what will be the importance of this character in his version of the film. He said that Leto will be part of a "dream sequence" and "psychic vision" experienced by Ben Affleck's Batman.

"The cool thing about the scene is that its Joker talking directly to Batman about Batman. It¡¯s Joker analyzing Batman about who he is and what he is. That¡¯s the thing I also felt like fans deserved from the DC Universe. That is to say, the Jared Leto Joker and the Ben Affleck Batman, they never really got together. It seemed uncool to me that we would make it all the way through this incarnation of Batman and Joker without seeing them come together," Zack had earlier told Variety.

On being quizzed about Joker's changed look and how he shed his tattoos, Snyder replied, ¡°I don¡¯t know if he¡¯s wearing makeup, I don¡¯t know what¡¯s happening. It¡¯s hard to say exactly.¡±

For the unversed, Ben Affleck will be playing the character of Batman in the venture. Zack Snyder¡¯s Cut of Justice League will be released on March 18.
