Emilia Clarke has finally agreed that she was also annoyed with the Game of Thrones ending. She said she felt for her character and her tragic end. Clarke agreed that it rushed to show a far too much in a fartoo less time.
Remember how we waited for almost years for the finale season of Game of Thrones? We re-watched all the seasons and just couldn't wait to know who will sit on the Iron Throne.
Now, it has just been almost been a year since the finale aired, and but it already feels like an eternity.
The finale of Game of Thrones season 8 left a lot of people disappointed. The plot twists -- especially Jon Snow killing Daenerys Targaryen and she turning into Mad queen -- were a bit too dramatic, right?
Emilia Clarke has finally agreed that she was also annoyed with the Game of Thrones ending.
Speaking to The Times, she said she "felt for her" character and her tragic end.
¡°Yeah, I felt for her. I really felt for her," Clarke told The Times.
"And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn¡¯t have to deal with something? He got away with murder ¡ª literally.¡±
And then the dragon showed up and did nothing!
Talking about the criticism that the finale season faced, Clarke agreed that it rushed to show a far too much in a far too less time.
"We could have spun it out for a little longer. It was all about the set pieces. I think the sensational nature of the show was, possibly, given a huge amount of airtime because that¡¯s what makes sense."
She took that all in good humour!
